Can you describe your role at IMGS?
I am an application engineer (IT GRAD), working on a GIS application. My work revolves around software development, testing and environment management tasks.
How long have you worked here?
I joined back in March.
Before working at IMGS, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I was a part-time teaching assistant in NUIG for a short while. Teaching has influenced my belief in social constructivism, we learn a lot by teaching!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to watch movies, and horror is my favourite genre. I’m really Looking forward to the new Halloween release!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you like to go ?
There is no place like home, so of-course India.
What piece of technology could you not live without?
A camera, simple yet vital for capturing memories.
What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
An Interest in art was passed to me from my mother. Check out some of my sketches below.
What do you enjoy most about working at IMGS?
Joining IMGS as an IT grad, I enjoyed how they encouraged serious learning and gave me an opportunity to grow, whilst initial mistakes were overlooked as a lesson learnt.
